Land Warfare Resources Corporation (LWRC) is one of the greatest manufacturers of rifles. Their LWRC rifle is pinpoint accurate and has been considered one of the finest rifles today. LWRC is a company that is not more than 13 years and from 1999 to January 2006, the company has focused on research and development. On 2006, the company was purchased in a management buyout by Pat Bryan, a U.S. Army veteran. Since then, the company moved into focusing on manufacturing firearms.

This company is known to produce weapons that are based on the M4 carbine model.
The LWRC rifle M6 was based on the M4 carbine, with which it shares 80% of its parts. The LWRC rifle ‘M’ models feature a proprietary short-stroke self-regulating gas piston system and bolt carrier / carrier key design. It prevents gases that are trapped from contacting bolt carrier or receiver of the weapon to reduce the heating and carbon fouling of the internals, simplifies field maintenance and improves reliability.

The standard length of the barrel is 16.1 inches, with a 1/7 inches twist barrel with a ferritic nitrocarbunized surface conversion which covers the barrel, both inside and out, as well as the piston components.
Available barrel lengths are 10.5”, 12.7”, 14.7”, and 18”.

Various LWRC Rifle

M6A1

This is also similar to the M4 but it is specifically designed to accept SOPMOD accessories similar to the M4A1 used by USSOCOM. The rail system is what divides the M6 model from the A1 model.

M6A2
This is the standard MWRC rifle and is flexible. It is allowed to be used in multiple roles in addition to assault weapon, such as an optional longer barrel allowing it to be used as a designated marksman rifle. All the A2 models use flip up sights that are mounted to their Mil Std 1913 style rail interface because this particular series does not have built in sighting systems unlike the A1 and A3 models. This one was featured in the Discovery Channel show “Future Weapons”, Spike TV “Deadliest Warrior, and the episode in the “SWAT versus GSG-9”, as the main carbine for the SWAT team together with the M6A4 model.

M6A3
LWRC Rifle rifle is specifically designed to be a designated marksman rifle. It uses mid-length short stroke gas piston system to reduce recoil and increases the speed of follow up shots. It has an adjustable gas system, allowing the user to adapt the rifle to different conditions. It also accommodates optics like scopes and reflex sights.
